Senior Data Engineer x4

100% remote 

As a Data Engineer, you will be joining a new function within the business, building out data products for clients globally. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Data Science team to build revenue generating services and products, designing and building data ingest pipelines to collect data from all areas of the business, evaluating various data processing tools (considering scalability and speed), and working closely with SREs to run mission crucial production services. You will utilise a range of data processing tools and technologies including Snowflake, Kafka, Python, and Docker.

Requirements:

• You have experience with scalable data processing engines including Snowflake
• You have excellent programming skills using Python
• You have experience with stream processing including Kafka
• You have a good understanding of Docker
• You have experience using ETL pipelines
• You are Degree educated in a Mathematics/Computer Science or a STEM subject
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
