My elite Cloud & Networking Consultancy are seeking a strong Pre-Sales Consultant with a background in WAN/LAN/Network Security / Core Networking

You will have:-

  • Networking/ Data/Telephony background (ie SD-WAN, IVR, skills based routing, ACD, CTI, voice recognition, web chat, unified messaging, screen pops, email message handling, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate the solution to customers.
  • Understand the competition, ability to competitively position us and differentiate the offering.
  • Clear understanding of our solutions and the value proposition that enables the customers’ business to operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Excellent customer orientation and the ability to engender this culture throughout the Technical Sales process and influence others.
  • Experienced technical sales professional with at least a proven track record with a technical consultative approach in a range of Networking/ Data / IP and Voice solutions an applications.
  • Experience of designing solutions and working with Sales to provide customer quotations.
  • Experience in making professional technical presentations, up to Board level.
  • Experience and understanding of the ‘sales cycle’.
  • Operate laptop and PC with Microsoft Operating System and applications software to include Word, Excel, Visio, Power-point and ASD software in a demonstrably competent manner, as well as a range of Web sites and tools to engender confidence in customers’ and efficiently handle essential administration in a timely manner
  • Understand the technical sales process, enabling clients to understand our proposition and validity in context of their business. Work in collaboration with the Account Management and Sales Teams to help them promote the Company’s products and services on the same basis.
  • Sell and promote the Company’s products and services by identifying key decision makers – and those who influence at all levels within the account – and developing strong relationships with these clients.
  • Understand the client’s needs, objectives and practices, presenting compelling business propositions, concepts and ideas to clients at senior and Board level and appropriately adapting these on a technical level, aligned with the client audience.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company, raise its profile, branding and credibility within the market.
  • Work with Sales to prepare detailed quotations for new business prospects and conclude contracts in accordance with the Company standard procedures, ensuring that all deals are secured and closed appropriately.
  • Qualify sales opportunities for feasibility of solution offering, to ensure that the type of services required are within the Company’s field of competence, ensuring delivery capabilities and capacity align with expectations committed to clients.
  • Feedback design issues/new functionality to the PS to continually improve the delivery and understanding of the Company’s solutions.
  • Ensure continuity for the customer by providing an effective handover to the post sales delivery team: Including clear definitions of business and technical requirements, key project personnel, defined system specifications, project scope.
  • Propose new areas of work and new product ideas to Senior Management. Identify risks associated with various strategies on both technical and business issues and recommend a course of action.
  • Represent the Company at conferences and trade shows etc.
  • Technical adjudicator to help management understand implications of proposed project tasks and make the technical decisions.
  • Maintain close, sensitive and long-term working relationships with key customers’ so that we remain at the forefront of their minds.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in Networking and associated technologies and the customer and supplier market places, in order to appreciate future customer requirements and to improve our solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver professional technical presentations to customers, up to and including director level.
  • Define the technical architecture for solutions proposed by us. This includes defining system costs, licenses and hardware. Provide ‘technical authority’ for our proposals.
  • Contribute significantly to the development of Company goals, growth and profitability targets by being an active member of our team and culture.
  • Identify potential competitive threats and take timely and effective action to minimise them.
